QR Codes are "a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white
squares, typically used for storing URLs or other information for
reading by the camera on a smartphone." -google.com
I have been using them for my class digital portfolio project. Each student is expected to make a website using Google Sites. They then have to create a video profile they have to embed onto their homepage. I am testing QR codes into this meaningful project. I am more a fan of Augmented Reality but using this technology to help market themselves is something they will retain forever.
