Padlet: A collaborative tool used for authentic discussion development

I want to review a tool that I used more recently, due to the pandemic. I started using a program called Padlet to have students reflect on the lesson topic for the day. Padlet has a variety of uses where you can create an interactive board. As I used it more often, I discovered you can alter the settings to benefit any classroom instruction. You can have students create posts so that they can freely write responses without fear or hesitation. You can approve comments that come into the board. What I found useful is its scoring function. You can alter posts so you can deliver immediate feedback to students responses. You can even grade each response. The padlet can create sharing options, such as copying the source link, embedded code, or create a customized QR code so that anyone can access the board once you finalize it.
For my class, I had students create video presentations of their narratives on their identity and future career goals. The interactive board worked well in sharing digital work and showcasing their work to the public. I can alter the videos to be private as well through google. Basically, this tool works well with any Learning Management System so it easily integrates to classroom instruction. Check out our gallery page on student's Talambuhay project for an example.
