Universal Design Learning
Universal Design Learning or UDL is an approach to classroom teaching that engages all learning modalities. UDL is broken down to representation (the what of instruction), Action and Expression (the how of instruction), and Engagement (they why of instruction). The website below provides specific details to design lessons in order to cater to the needs of students in the 21st century. It applies traditional strategies with a bit of integration of technology so that all students gain skills to thrive in our working environments. I believe UDL is a great way to promote the different learning styles of students and implement technology that will advocate for differentiation, and blended learning environments in the classroom.
